Hello everyone,

New member. Just bought a 300TE for not a lot of money:cool:
Just a few problems: Dash light do not work, rear windows same ( tho seen a thread about them and will try solution) I want to fit a new radio haynes manual says amp is by aerial, it is'nt, anyone know where it could be:?: Rear wiper/wash just clicks when I press the button, could be siezed, any one had a similar problem:?: Car is a 1987 model.;) All replies and advice gratefully received.

On the dash lights - check the dimmer. operated by twiddleing the mileometer reset knob.
Radio amp - doubtful on a 1987 - normally it's just a standard single din radio. I dare say an amp was an option but you probably don't have one so just fit the radio.

any amp in a 124 t ...

would blow the speakers right out of the car. They aren't very powerful and will be embarassed by even the most modest modern radio/combo.

Take what Haynes says saltily, I keep finding them getting things annoyingly wrong.
