Insurance for Second Car

Hi,

Don't know if anyone out there can help.

I have a 1986 300SL. Full Thacham Cat1 stored on driveway overnight.

I have been a co-car driver for 6 Years and now want my own bit of fun.

I am trying to find a more sensible insurance premium for S,D&P along with commuting. Circa 3,500 Miles p/a.

I have 2 probelms:

A speeding fine from 10/1999. (SP50 - 1 Weeks Ban (whoops))
No personal no claims but 6 years company car use without accident or claim. (I still use the compnay car)

I tried the MBOA recommended site but they cannot cover for loss overnight in the event of theft!

Can anyone recommend anyone who has a similar experience?

you have two problems - the ban and no garage. I suspect the ban is the minor one here. A company car should count so try for classic cover. The only people I could find that dont demand a garage is Carole Nash, www.carolenash.com. SD+P may be the only cover you can get.

Carole nash are top notch. They gave me a blinding quote (& I mean blinding) and were superbly helpful.

Cannot thank MLC enough and nor can I say enough good things about Carole Nash.
