Used a broker and managed to get cover for £880 (TPFT) which includes the previous policy being voided. Was really surprised he didn't want to know the reason.In fact he really couldn't care less. Have checked the policy documents and it does say it.
The premiums quoted on the comparison sites started at £1033 and up for regular customer and £1800 for voided ones.
Should have used brokers before.Insurance in my area has always been high, except for one instance.In 2011 got renewal quote from Admiral of £450 (very good for area) for my 2001 W210CDi. Sold and bought current 2000 W210 and they wanted £750.
