Insurance Recommendations

Hi Folks,

Title says it all really. I'm new to Merc ownership, having just bought a 300TE Circa 1987.

I have my two other cars ('59 Austin A40 & '76 MG) with Footman James, and am hoping to add this Merc to this "Classic" policy.

Assuming the worst, and they won;t add the car, who do others use, and is the deals on insurance through the club worthwhile?

I'm 40, car is on street parking in London, Full NCB. Anything Sub £300 and I'd be a happy man.

I've always found Admiral to quote me at half the price of anyone else on both the Merc and the Yaris. It might be that my criteria are just right for them though.

Put your details into www.confused.com. It will give you a list of quotes for your details from all the main insurers with the cheapest at the top.
