Interior Light staying on w208

Bit weird this
Had new rear break pads fitted yesterday
Got car back and now when ever I lock the car the interior light goes off
However 5 mins approx later the interior light switches its self on again
If I unlock the car and leave it unlocked the lights stay off
Everything else seems to work fine

Any ideas to resolve this
I have to park the car at Gatwick for two weeks tomorrow and am concerned that if the light comes on will I have a flat battery when I get back
I have valet parking so I am sure they may have a problem when returning the car

This is driving me mad it goes off when I lock the car
Go out to the car 10 mins later and it’s back on again Aaarg
