Just read the post mentioning interior motion sensors and it occurred to me I have these fitted to mine but they don't do anything. Had the car nearly two years but never bothered about them. Can anyone enlighten me as to how to test/check/set the things? All else about the alarm system works OK.
Cheers, Tom.

Easy way to check is to lock and alarm the car with either yourself or a significant other inside. Have them move around, if the alarm sounds the sensors are working.
Alternatively if the alarm is an older model open the fresh air vents and park it nose into the wind. You can then win friends and influence people with your alarm going off every couple of minutes during the small hours.

Hi Tom,
If your speaking 'Scorpion Alarm' again (like we did some time ago), I would suggest you flick the slider switch on your key fob button activator, as this switches them on.

You'll know when they are activated as the indicators will flash 3 times instead of the normal 2 & the led on the drivers pillar sensor should light up 30 secs or so after to indicate that its armed !

The delay is to allow for windows n roof to be closed automatically by alarm (should they be down unknowingly) & thus prevent alarm going off prematurely.
Keith.

Oops,
forgot to mention that slider switch is on side of button activator & recessed to prevent accidental activation.
You may need a pointed thingy to slide it up or down.
Keith.

Thanks Keith. In that case it seems I can't take this any furthen then as I appear to have a non-original fob, no slider switch nor indeed any MB logo on it. It has a red LED and two buttons in-line, one for normal remote locking/unlocking/arming the alarm and the other just stops/sounds the alarm at will.
Cheers anyway, Tom.
