Interior Storage boxes remain open [CLA]

Hi guys,


i need your help. THis is CLA, 2014. THos boxes below opened and remained open, they cannot be closed. SOmeone knows if i can fix it myself?

Can someone give me some simple instructions how to open and see the mechanism of those boxes?

Also what is the naming of this to search for any new mechanisms online?


Kindly help me - i can't find someone to fix this and i dont want to spend hundreds of euros to mercedes garage...

don’t know although on most mb that centre panel pulls out / up : you could try gently to see if it lifts up it might give you a better idea what’s happening in there .
