intermittent Audio 20 gremlins.............

hi

i am currently experiencing a couple of intermittent problems

1) Audio controls on steering wheel occaisionally don't function - with "audio off" message displayed on dash computer read-out while all controls & display on audio unit itself function properly
2) Audio can occaisionally remain "ON" after stopping engine & removing key from ignition

These two usually happen in tandem

3) Audio unit intermittently turns itself on & off in quick succession (maybe 5 or six times) for a period of approx 30secs before deciding upon a permanent position (happens especially, but not exclusively, while listening ot MW in areas of poor reception.........)

all of these are merely a minor irritant at the mo', but have the potential to drive me bonkers!


clearly some electrical gremlins at work here - has anyone come across similar issues & aware of solutions

All you can do is to remove the fuse or unplug it so that it powers down including the memory, other than that you may have to send it to Becker for repairs
