Intermittent indicater problem

Hi, I am new to this forum and have an A class 1.4 and wandered if anyone can help- When I indicate left the right indicater flashes, this doesn't happen all the time but have been told it will cost me alot of money to fix.

maybe an earth fault.
try checking all earth connections local to indicator lamps

Make sure bulb is making good contact in holder. Hope this helps

Did one of these the other day, the battery terminal has a couple of electrical outlets on the positive terminal, basically one of them is for the consumer systems, the one I had had worked loose and it was sending all sorts of funny signals through the car, check yours, especially if you have had a battery replaced recently.
