intermittent starting prob on 94 e class petrol

Hi hope someone can help....... very occasionally my e class 2.2 petrol estate fails to start... never when cold i may add but after a short stop (shop etc) if left for 2 mins after attempting to start its ok and will be for weeks or longer then the problem occurs again it has stopped whilst driving alon but only twice in twelve months...... now then, i stuff books etc under the passenger seat will that have anything to do with it? are there switches there? its very irritating and any help would be gratefully recieved.cheers

i had somthing similar to that on a 7seriesbmw, it was my cold start injector/sensor i think. mite be worth checking that kind of area.

try the overvoltage relay which is a silver relay with a fuse in the top around the battery area
