Iphone 5 and mp3 connector

Hi all,
Whilst I have never used it im told my CLS with the NTG2.5 command has an mp3 slot in the glove box, does anyone know which type of cable is used to connect it doesnt look like a USB?

MP3 slot is on the Comand unit itself above the DVD slot.

I take it you mean it has a media interface connector. It is a non standard connector. You get a 3 cable set that can connect to that connector, aux input, USB or ipod. The ipod connector wont connect to an iphone 5 as it is a 30 pin connector so you will need a converter.

Hi thanks for that.
The slot in the face of the command on mine is for an SD card which i have filled so I guess I am trying to connect to the pin socket in the glove box.
I will contact commandonline tomorrow to see if I can source something.

Yes that what I meant the SD card slot for mp3 files.

Comand are out of stock but your dealer will also be able to supply the cables or ebay.

Hi I noticed commandonline do the viseeo unit too, im thinking i could download my music lbrary to this and connect it to the phone socket under the arm rest, or am I simplifying things?

Viseeo is only for phone. NTG2.5 has full bluetooth built in for phone.

If your SD card is full (it takes upto 32GB) then you could use a USB stick or portable harddrive connected to the media interface.

hi yesphone works fine in bluetooth, but i am wondering if I can add something via a hard connection to the phone socket in th armrest.....technology being what it is, assuming there is a demand I was thinking that may be a way of adding another device?

Of course it could bugger the lot up so maybe not/
