iPod connection w212

Hello All.

I have the connection for the iPod in my w212 . Is it supposed to also charge the device?

It should do but the cables can be very hit and Miss, lots of us use genuine ones from Apple as they are about the only ones that seem to work consistently

Cables came with the car, will try a genuine cable as not sure if mine is.

And bizarrely enough it started charging today! May still get a new cable

If it’s started charging then I’d hold off for a week and see how it behaves, give the connectors a clean and ensure everything is pushed home fully and you may be ok.
