Hi All!

One of the accessories I am considering is the iPod fitting. I have ordered our new coupe with the Harmon-Kardon system (we are huge audiophiles). The dealer says it takes about 3 hours to fit it. However, does anyone know what models of iPod it will handle? We have only the Nano & Mini versions. I can not seem to find any information on the Mercedes website about it.

TIA,

There has been quite a lot of discussion on the forum, pls do a search on ipod.
There is a leaflet in the dealers which states that the interface kit is compatible with all Apple MP3 playes, 3rd generation and above. ipod Mini, ipod photo, ipod U2 and ipod Nano. The ipod cradle (B6 782 4207) is suitable for the ipod (from 3rd generation) and for the ipod mini.

Think it'll be fine with the mini or the nano (although if you've got COMAND you'll get a lot more on a CD or DVD using MP3 files than you will on a mini).

I've got it and it's great - my whole music collection in my car - what I'm having to get used to doing is setting up playlists otherwise I end up spending all my time scrolling through menus to decide what to listen to!
