Is £36 per Month for 3 Years a Good Deal For Servicing B1- A - B (S205)…..I'm due a B1 service next month....car will be 4 years old....The B1 has been quoted at 585.3 includes brake fluid...fuel filter...air and pollen filters plus the usual oil and filter etc...the car is a C220d S205 Premium Plus July 2015 with 17k miles...Plus MOT at £39....They have offered me 3 services including this one for £36 p/m for 36 months Plus each MOT cost...Is it a good deal? What if I decide to sell the car after 2 years for example?

Can't really help you on costs, but paying monthly is far easier than paying a lump sum on the day

Check your Service Schedule Booklet, I'm sure you'll have an ATF change at 4 Yrs, they should include for all the Standard and Additional service items incl consumables, courtesy car or pickup/drop off/timed service. Bundle any unused services with your car if you sell in the meantime?

Your mileage is similar to mine and I opt for B/A/A/B servicing on an annual basis with an Independent which is still an expensive way to service a low mileage car. In contrast the servicing schedule for the BMW is on requirement only ie the onboard car status indicates when the oil, brakes etc need replacement which is how servicing should be done supplemented by an annual checkover and MoT.

On that basis I think £1300 for three years servicing is not good value with your mileage

If you sell the car before the 36 months deal then MB calculate what you’ve had until disposal against what payments you’ve paid and give you a settlement . I did that with my last car....
