Thought the NE Essex met was going to kick off - never did.

Sure it only needs a bit of organisation - now the weather is turning - Sunday morning at a pub somewhere?

meetings do take place.

i should get roudn to making it more common knowledge really.

thing is, other clubs do better at organising them, so we just hijack that event and pretend we organised it.

will post up some dates of a few being organised at presnt fot those members wishing to show their cars.

Some members on this site may even have been privildged to ride in the slinkymobile.

i do recall one even got the chance to drive it!!!!!

GOLF's welcome too, just park out of sight please!;)

HMMMM, was nice. very quiet.

10 cars turned up at a qucikly organised on on January this year in Oxford.

6 were AMG's which was very annoying for the 3 who turned up in None AMG mercs (Blassberg!) and the GOLF that came couldnt keep up when we went from one pub to the next and we never saw him again. Shame as it was an R32.

and 29 turned up in Kent in Feb. A few AMG's turned inclduing mine, but i think the star was a 1972 SL320 pagoda!

A geezer with the STAR daignose box turned up and for £20, he would add some options to your car, or clear your fault memory etc. he was a Mercedes geezer so it was kosher.

about 12 are going to one in Redditch as we type. and one is organised for the 1st July in Nottingham. I will post details on here when its confirmed.

am not aware of any further north at the moment but i am sure some will happen.

and the SKODA still lives.

It was only annoying as 5 AMG couldn't keep up with a diesel on the way there and 3 couldn't on the way back....:p

thats coz we have traction problems. all that power from proper fuel just rips up the tarmac. whereas the agricultural sourced power supply yours has is more suited to mud and country lanes!!!!!! it is obviously an advantage to see over the hedge and hear your car clattering away to itself.

and the SatNav was unable to keep up with the speeds we were doing so we had passed the junction it kept saying we needed, thus meanin more enjoyment for the driver's etc.

Mobile phones help dont they? especially when you ask someone who is lost, where he is! he is lost!!!!

:D :D :D
