Hello guys,
I am looking to buy a Wagon, and after having discovered that the self levelling is standard on the E class (S211), I decided to turn away from it as I am looking for reliability.

Thus, do you know if E-class' little brother, W204 has the same system by default, or is it normal suspension?

Thanks a lot and kind regards,
Elias

Normal standard setup is hydrostatic passive stability unless it has the optional active suspension that is computer controlled.

Does a W204 Wagon WITHOUT the airmatic option, have the same kind of unreliable rear self levelling suspension? (like the S211?)

Standard suspension just has the shocks filled with the hydrostatic fluid so there's nothing to go wrong in that sense. Fluid makes the shocks stiffer on corners and softer on bumps.
