Is £500 a good price for a
B service and auto gearbox oil change on my C207 350cdi ?
In fact does it need a gearbox oil change? The car is 9 years
old in November but it's only done just over 41,000 miles.

If the ATF hasn't been changed in nine years, it should be now. With that included, the price seems reasonable to me.

Never thought about a flush, Jon, I would like to think it was standard practice, but who knows, I will now mention it, when I book the car in.

A B service is basically an A service with some additional "inspections" added. Things like, do the headlights work, do the interior lights work that kind of thing.

I know but the replaceable items (engine air filters for example) will vary hence my question

I was quoted £474 in Mar 2019 as part of an SCP from Stratstone MB in Leeds for a B Service and ATF change for the work to be carried out in Feb this Year, total cost was £864 to include an A Service last Year.

That was from an original estimate of £557.36 and £677.92 totalling £1,235.28 brought down to a 2 Year SCP of £864, The A service did include some filter changes as well.

I've just been quoted £900 for a 'Minor' service on the GT3... Just to make you feel better!
