Think that someone's had their account hacked here. All the previous items they've bought or sold are lower value and mainly golf related.

May be worth mentioning it to eBay? (or the account holder)

There are loads of these at the moment. A lot of the pictures are nicked from Autotrader.

I found a Range Rover on ebay for £12K the same one was on Autotrader for£28k.

Any one else think that Ebay isn't doing enough to check these higher priced items?
It would of course be a nightmare to check every listing, but surely some sort of double check on the more costly stuff wouldnt be hard to impliment?

When you need ebay to check things, they never do. I had a listing removed because I mentioned another price in the listing, but I was just adding extras to the soap I was selling...

Oh and I found out they don't appriciate livestock on there either... :Lol: My ex tried selling ducks on ebay..

Emailed the person whose name was showing (original account holder), basically saying:

"I think your account has been hacked. If so, report it to ebay.

If not, and you are really selling this, I'll have it now please, with the BMW as well

Got a snotty letter in reply (from ebay) warning me of the pitfalls of dealing outside them.

Yeah.....like it's going to be safe to spend 12K with an obvious scammer.
