Hi
I have a fault with the hood working. The tensioning cable has snapped/broken and the boot divider warning each time. The last time I almost didn’t get the hood to shut, so I saw not use it again.
The tensioning cable on the right hand side has snapped or come away from the end where it was attached to.
I been quoted £60 to replace the cable however, just spoke to hood repair specialist and he says something else (electrical perhaps) has caused the tensioning cable to snap)
They change £60 just to look at it.
what do you think I should do, I don’t want to replace the tensioning cable only for it to snap off again.
