I've hit 200,000k today

My 1989 260E went past the 200,000 mile mark today!

The way I would have wanted it to as well. Driving to the airport to pick up my wife it was sitting on 199,999 miles as a clown in a BMW 3 series blasted past I got a bit annoyed so took off after him. I'm proud to say that kickdown cut in and he couldn't pull away from an 18 year old Benz and pulled over to let me through just as I hit 200,000 miles.

I was proud of the old lady, and she was smooth as silk as she did it.

Maybe time to change my signature?

Fantastic, now to the 300 000 mark.
I am catching you up, but not in a Benz, my company Ford Mondeo has cover 157000 in 3 years 0n the 20th June. Not one single problem for a car that sounds like a tractor.....

i do 300 miles daily in my mondeo petrol but always swop them at 400.000 miles in case they become unreliable
