This is the best way I've seen to sum up Jeremy Corbyn.

He's like a turtle on top of a post.

You know he didn't get up there by himself, you know he doesn't belong up there. He doesn't know what to do whilst he's up there. He's been elevated beyond his ability to function and you just wonder what kind of dumb arse put him up there in the first place!

:)

Once again you take what is fact and bend it to suit your own ideology, Jeremey Corbyn never supported the IRA, he did lend support to the cause they were fighting for. ie brits out of Ireland. Simply because it was the brits who partitioned Ireland. Even hard line British Ministers agreed with the idea that Britian would be better out of there ...It was people like Jeremy Corbyn who set a path for the peace process. He just happened to do it before Maggie and Brenda got to shake hands with the leaders the IRA.
But these things are never talked about or seen as helpful in any way. The along comes guys like your good self who get the headlines and then make up your own story to suit.
Another Good Guy was buried today who was instrumental in bringing McGuinness and Adams into the peace process..Brendan Duddy a local Derry Business man, ran a few Fish and chip shops back in the day, and got to know Martin mc Guinness, who at the time delivered Beef Burgers to his chippy.
Amongst the mourners was a m16 officer called Michael Oatley and Peter Taylor a former BBC journalist.

And you did your usual lefty thing of taking just one point to argue on. Answer me this- using examples of his previous behaviour in standing up for the oppressed and taking decisive action, AND their continued demonstrated behaviour, please to explain how Corbyn would handle the Caliphate.

He would talk to them, shake hands with them, attend beheading ceremonies and mourning ceremonies for their fallen. Probably convert to Muslim too.

Obviously this is all once he's got past their deep rooted and unwavering hatred of westerners. You know, that thing that all the hard line leaders of Daesh have.

The best way to educate Corbyn and his cronies would be as follows (I have posted this once before on here but as a reminder):

1. Engage in conversation, and ask if military force is appropriate.
2. When he says “No,” ask, “Why not?”
3. Wait until he says something to the effect of, “Because that would just cause more innocent deaths, which would be awful and we should not cause more violence.”
4. When he’s in mid sentence, punch him in the face as hard as you can.
5. When he gets back up to punch you, point out that it would be a mistake and contrary to his values to strike you because that would be awful and he should not cause more violence.
6. Wait until he agrees, and has pledged not to commit additional violence.
7. Punch him in the face again, harder this time.
8. Repeat steps 5 through 7 until he understands that sometimes it is necessary to punch back.

Step 5 assumes he wouldn't just run away. He's a physical and moral coward who avoids confrontation when it's his bum on the line.

You can't negotiate with Isil. They have two demands. You convert to their version of Islam, or you die. That's it. They are not interested in compromise, it is the above or nothing. They hate the west, they hate Moslems who don't subscribe to their extreme version. They hate everyone who isn't them.

This is something the left never seems to understand. You can no more negotiate with them than you could persuade a lion to give up its chunk of meat.

I know that. You know that. Carl knows that. Mr Corbyn cannot understand that he does not know that.

Edit. One thing to ponder too. They hate everyone who isn't them (insert their particular brand of radical Islam) very slightly more than everyone else who is almost them (insert every other brand of radical Islam). Confine them to one rigid geographical area with no means of escape and low grade civil war would begin almost immediately- which it already has several times.

"In a fair and objective way (if possible)

What are Jeremys strong points ?

he is after all looking like leader of the opposition (maybe)"

Just read all the posts since the above was posted...

1. Meandered off topic.

2. Personalized critisms posted

3. Speculation cited frequently

4. Limited factual presentation

Just like British political debate!
I'm enjoying it immensely...

Question: is the average voter sufficiently educated/informed to cast a meaningful vote?

In the absence of 'charismatic' figureheads, voters are required to look beyond leaders and consider the validity of the manifestos presented...

Seriously this from a guy who gets upset when some uses a statement like 'sending in an army who shoots first then asks questions' and and u refute it.. Then you post absolute rubbish like that statement u just made.
The sad thing about is that you are eligible to vote and you will vote based on your limited ability to see what you are voting for.
Just punch the hell out of anyone who disagrees with you, brilliant.

Except that isn't what he said, is it? Read and inwardly digest it, look at the reasoning given, then come back and discuss. Here, I'll make it easy for you, this is the pertinent bit.

Repeat steps 5 through 7 until he understands that sometimes it is necessary to punch back.

Do you get it now?

Where did I say punch anyone who disagrees????

As Craig has highlighted, the point I made in a rather crude way (so that hopefully you would understand it, obviously not) is that sometimes you HAVE to use force. It should ALWAYS be a last resort (that doesn't mean it can't be pre-emptive) but sometimes you have no other option!

Also it would be appreciated if you don't confuse my ability with yours!

Very unlikely.
He would probably sit somewhere away from the activity posing for the red top rags, complaining about the lack of seating!

He would probably have a pre prepared speech about how Harold McMillan ran the country and how he aspires to do it exactly the same

Oh I see you were only joking about punching people in the face. Well that's ok then. You wont mind I hope if I disagree with your synopsis.
