Hi, I have a 2005 CLK 320 CDI. V6 ( 7 speed ) I have owned it just over 6 weeks and has been to the main dealers on 2 occassions for jerky gearbox problems. This problem mainly shows up when cold and changing down from 3rd to 2nd or 4th to 3rd. ( sorry not sure )
I have been told all updates have been done and no faults found and on the 2nd visit ATF fluid / filter have been changed. There has been a slight improvement, but I feel this changedown situation is unacceptable. The car has a full MB service history @ 72000 mls, but I contacted the previous ( car bought of dealer ) owner and he told me this was an on going problem and had been with MB on a few occasions and just learned to live with it. I love the car. What have I bought??? Someone out there must have an answer, Please HELP!!! It's starting to affect my sleep !!!
