Hello,
I have a Mercedes C220 CDI Sport Automatic Diesel Estate 08 Reg,, recently purchased. A fault developed where i could not engage any gears. After getting the AA to Tow it to my local Garage it appears the Fuse box is at fault. Apparently Mercedes do not supply this Fuse box anymore, so the Garage found only one online for £300,had it delivered, fitted it and it is faulty. We recently scrapped our old 2004 C Class again due to a fusebox issue. My question is are the C Class models prone to fusebox problems, also does anyone know of someone who can either supply or repair one?

Do you mean a SAM rather than a fuse box? Water ingress can cause loads of issues in the SAM

What exactly is the issue with the fusebox.

If you bought it from a Dealer it is his problem John.

And what went wrong with the fusebox. I have never had a problem with one on any car.

Have you had problems with water ingress.
