Hi.
Went fishing on Saturday, had a good match and came second, loaded all my gear back into the ML270, got in, switched it on, started engine and the drivers side rear window went down.
Thought this was odd, so sent it up again and started going down the track out of the fishery, the same window went down again, so wound it up. This happened four times coming out of the fishery. Then on the road, it did not happen !!!!.
Got to the club house i was going to for presentation and eats, drive over speed hump and window comes down again. So, i start thinking, either the switch or the window module has a problem, dam, another thing to fix.
Then i had a light bulb moment, looked at the rear console where the rear electric window switches are, my rod holdall was very close to the right hand side switch, and if i went over a bump, it pressed it !!!!!

Easy fix, moved the rod holdall !!!!!

Similar experience, but different, About 20 years ago I owned a firework display company. I would regularly drive vans loaded with large quatities of prefessional firewoks. One day I was transporting some shells to a site for a display. My passenger was allarmed when a hissing sound started coming from the load area of the van. The sound was like a fuse burning. We pulled over and evacuated the van pretty quickly. Turned out the load had shifted and was pressing on the lever of one of the many fire-extiguisher we were obleged to carry.
