JUNE 1994 E280 AUTO WORKSHOP MANUAL

I HAVE RECENTLY AQUIRED THIS VEHICLE AND WATER IS POURING OUT OF THE LOWER RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE ENGINE,ALMOST AS FAST AS YOU FILL IT. IT SEEMS TO BE COMING FROM BELOW THE WATER PUMP,WHICH I SUSPECT IS BUGGERED!
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS ENGINE IS COVERED IN ANY MANUAL? AND ARE THERE ANY OTHER POSSIBLE CAUSES FOR THIS PROBLEM ?
ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED !

99% of your car will be covered in the Haynes manual....the cover of the W124 manual says upto 1993 although the car was produced upto 1995.

You will find that your engine, water pump etc is covered.

Most of the water pump problems seem to be slow leaks or a very fine spray of water being squirted out......have you got a loose hose somewhere?
