Just back from benz world

Went to London for few days to visit benz-world and the brooklands museum.
benz world was great and the AMG experience was brilliant. No Maybachs on display which annoyed my boys (not me they look crap) though there was plenty lying around outside and it also had the longest escalator we have ever seen.

Brooklands was ok, vickers planes built at brooklands were good to clamber around but best of all was the old banked racetrack you could walk around, it was amazing climbing up the banks of the track with all that history and brilliant to visit somewhere that doesnt bother too much about healthy and safety and lets you go nearly anywhere you want obviously until the first muppet trips and sues.

concorde tour was quite intersting aswell.

Its a good trip. Did you go for any AMG driving experience things. I didn't but wish I did now :(

it was the passenger one i went on, tenner a head for me and the two boys for 15 minutes but worth every penny, my jaws were sore with smiling, what a machine and the boy driving was brilliant.

We went too..

I was there yesterday too with my lad. Split the day between MB World and the Brooklands Museum and have to say what a great day out it turned out to be.

Didn't really know what to expect from MB World but there was plenty to see and watching the cars on the track passed quite a bit of time too. Have put a load of random photos in my albums.

We didn't do any of the 'Experiences' but will definitely be doing one the next time we go.

The museum was good too and it was interesting to hear about the connection with Concorde as I had no idea that so much of the aircraft was built there.
