My newest vehicle is a 2005 E320 CDI with 145 k miles. Bought it in Raleigh, NC and drove it home to Tucson, AZ. This is my 3rd diesel and I'm excited to see how long this one can serve me!

Welcome Tucson, I guess the first five never went wrong, so you had no reason to post here. But you're obviously convinced your luck will run out

Hello chap and welcome.

We just sold our 2007 E320, 237k miles and still pulling like a train! Great performance from that car. By that reckoning you should have at least another 100k miles on it...!!

I would like to think that the reason I don't get problems is because I don't buy high miles. My present car is 6 years old and covered 27,000 miles. :)

Personally I think garage queens with low mileage can be more of an issue than a regularly used car - especially if it spends it's life sitting on the motorway on cruise. Everything gets nice and warm and up to temp.

That's only because a 3 mile journey in East Anglia takes 45 minutes ;) it only feels like you're doing 25k a year ;)

Naw, I don't believe in luck. I'm just looking for others who are already moaning in their beer who may have had the kinds of issues my newest "problem child" may contract in future years! LOL!

My fathers is up to 269k and drives like its just left Stuttgart.

Look after them, they will look after you.

Welcome to the forums!!

The Benz I owned before this one was a 300E. It graciously.. (or not so) bowed out at 268k miles when the chassis rotted out from over the suspension!
