Hello to all,
I'm new to MB ownership having just fullfilled a longtime ambition and puchased a 1984 w123 230CE.

Doubtless, there'll be challenges ahead but I'm over the moon with the car and look forward to exchanging views and picking up tips from owners who know much more than I do about the model ;)

This board looks like a happy home for the enthusiast - hope I'm here a while.

Regards, Nick (Nr Leeds)

Hi Nick,
Not been on here long myself, also a recent newbie.
But there's a wealth of knowledge on here, and some good guys that know the stuff.
Definately one of the better forums to be on, welcome.:)

Hi Nick. :) Welcome.

I'm also very new here and to owning my old MB (W124) but have found everyone really friendly, knowledgable and helpful here.

Hello and welcome, nice to see that you have bought the last true Do it yourself MB, and a good looking one at that.

Thanks for the comments folks - really encouraging. I must admit to being a bit daunted by the car at the moment (can't quite believe it's mine!) but I'm sure that'll wear off when I get my hands dirty.

Photo's to follow when she's looking her best.
