2001 CLK 230 AVANTGARDE
Hi Everyone

Just bought a 2001 51 plate CLK 230 Avantgarde in Obsidian Black, picking her up end of this week coming.
Was going to buy a BMW 530I Sport but have been very dissapointed with the ones I have viewed, set my heart on one after having a 528se a couple of years back.
Anyhow to cut a long story short have bought a CLK and have fell in love with it so smooth and with the brief drive I had was very impressed, might be a merc convert now:)

Will post some pics when I get my hands on her can't wait

Regards Steve

Thanks guys for the kind words , can't wait. She has 99k miles up but looks in great condition wearing the miles well. Cost me £4490 with a full MBSH only fault I can see is trim coming away from drivers side grab handle, may have to replace? any thoughts guys?.
Fancy a black grille with the Merc star in the centre, also on 16s so looking to upgrade to maybe 17 or 18 any advice would be appreciated.Original alloys are being refurbished and all have nearly new tyres on so might be selling these, what do they go for?
Wil stop my rambling now

Personally I'd live the grille as it is. Seen a few "star grilles" on the 208 and they don't look right.

17 inch wheels or 18's would be a better "upgrade" as maybe an AMG exhaust back section.

Has the ATF been changed? If not its definately due.

Also if there is any rust etc a waxoil rust protection deffo worth the money.

Auto box fluid, most never get changed, but should be done at every 40 miles now

Jesus, I've missed over 1000 ATF changes. No wonder she sounds like a bag of bolts shaking herself a part. I always thought it was because it was a diesel engines that caused this phenonemon that:lol:;)

Nice one , do you know roughly how much for handle and ATF change.

Also can anybody recommend a good indie in the Sheffield area?
