I have the adapter in my E Class for the K750i

The problem is that only about 50% of my contacts from the phone show up in the Command system - both on the big screen and the dial screen. Is there a limit to the number of contacts it will hold?

whilst i know nothing of the vehicle or the phone (which is a great start you have to agree) is it possible that the contacts you see are on your phone. And the others on the sim card? Or of course the other way around......

its just a wild stab in the dark.

The comand system takes the numbers from the sim card.

Thanks for the replies..... Where can you choose either the SIM or the Phone?

How would I know if it has Command 2 - the car is 2 months old.

Your command is newer than mine, so maybe this has changed, my command to ask me card or phone.

Its important to note that if you get to chose one or the other you may have to do a bit of fiddling on your phone too. Copying contacts here and there.

generally speaking you'll be able o store much much data about a contact on the phone memory than in the sim memory which is usually just a phone number and a name of a certain (often quite limited) length. If possible have the contacts on the phone memory and chose that. that way you can have various other details (including pictures and specific ring tones and all that rubbish setup). Dont forget to have your important contacts on your sim aswell incase you ever break your phone and need to borrow/buy a new one in an emergancy. Sorry thats strayed somewhat OT hasn't it.

Hmmmm ... have tried both SIM and Phone contacts. Interestingly I was never asked to choose between SIM/Phone. At what point do you get asked?
