Hi
My 98 SLK doesn't seem to want to give me my key back 90% of the time, you have to pump the brake or switch on and off again or try moving the auto box around any ideas

Is the key hot to the touch?

There is some mechanism to only release the key when you are in 'P' sounds like that's where the problem is.

In 'P' + you need to have your foot OFF the brake pedal, to remove key.
