kleemann upgrade

Hi, I have a 2005 e55 amg. I was considering a Kleemann stage 1 upgrade. I am a little concerned if the extra power can damage the engine/transmission in the longer term. Has anyone had one of these kits fitted and has the car been completely reliable? Thanks, regards, Mark
