I have this MB 300CE 24-V '91 that is imported from Germany. S/n: WDB1240511B527039. I bought it from a car sale and the meter said 128000 km. I believe that the meter has been changed. I have changed the front wheel bearings, motor shockers and a lot more. There is even a glitch in the exhaust exit from the engine. I have also fixed a lot more things that I will not list. The latest is that the bearing in the converter turbo has started making noise and that is really expensive to fix. The icelandic dealership cannot do anything for me to get information from Germany about the history of this car an I am desperate. What can I do? Is it normal that all these things are broken after only 130000 km? What is the normal lasting time of the bearing in the automatic transmission? I sincerely hope that you can tell me something or at least point me to the right direction. I cannot even get the car number (number plate) from Germany.. :?
