Yesterday I inadvertantly drove about 100m with the handbrake on. Coincidentally, or not, there is an annoying knocking sound coming from somewhere inside, or beneath, or in front of the driver's door. It doesn't sound when I go over a bump, but mainly when I brake hard or accelerate. Could this be anything to do with the handbrake, which still seems to work perfectly, or is it yet another old-car-loose-trim sound?
