knocking when accelerating or braking...

Hi all,

I have a 450slc - and after going over some speedhumps it seems to have developed a knock when I accelerate or brake. This is exacerbated if I jab the brakes followed by the accelerator (big knock). It sounds like its underneath the rear bodywork on the right....
Is there an easy to replace bush?? am I kidding myself??

Good starting place is checking flexible couplings on the prop shaft / diff UJ and also the centre bearing rubber housing - they are cheap and fairly straightforward to repair. Good luck.
