Tried a few companies for my insurance renewal and mentioned about converting to SVO - 2 tank system. All I'm getting is they'll insure if it is fitted by a recognised professional company (example they always give is an LPG conversion).

If I bought the kit from Diesel Veg but fitted it myself, can't risk 'winging it' about who fitted it, so anyone out there know of a company who will insure without reasonable loading of premiums?

could you try going back to the seller and bung them a few quid to sign it off? if there is no problem with the fitting of it then they may be happy to do so.

This is something I've been pondering over for a while.

Have you asked over on the Goat Ind forum?
