does anyone know/used these? any advice? i got 2 tyres which need replacing i have decided finances not great so going for mid-level brand and garage advised these tyres for my c250 td 1998

As I understand it, they are fairly good. Certainly amongst the best of the budget brands. We had a general discussion on this a few weeks ago. I bought some Federal tyres to replace my Bridgestones. The jury is still out on the wear front but so far I am quite happy with them. Grip and noise are as good if not better than the premium brands and they were 1/2 the price. I doubt they'll last as long but so far (4k or so) they're doing fine.

what model federals were they?

have khumo's all round, good tyre, still get the odd flashing amber triangle in the wet but that could be due to my right foot. Saved myself 400 euro buying the khumos was going for federal but they didn't import that size tyre into the country.

well i was going to get toyo proxes T1-R's but then i thought i have a c250 TD and to get my moneys worth probably no point getting a high performance tyre like toyos as its not a speed demon car like a AMG etc etc

P.s whats the road noise on the Kumho Ku31's??
