lambda sensors,

can anyone tell me if the lambda sensors are interchangeable, from say an e230 and an e280 ? as iv`e been told that theres not a lot of difference

Probably there is no difference as one type of sensor will be fitted to many different engines. Check out justlambda.co.uk they list and sell them for virtually all makes and models.
