Presumably you've really tried to find your torque wrench?
A tool like that doesn't easily go missing - so it's probably somewhere obvious that you may have overlooked.
Another search might find it.
Let's hope it's not in the fuel tank!
Inside the inlet manifold would be second choice after the tank

I've looked everywhere in my house yes. And girlfriend reckons she has searched everywhere in her house. I can only go by what she tells me.

1, Go to Halfords and buy one of these for £40
701767

2, Use it, don't damage it!
3, Take it back for a refund when you've finished with it and tell them it's rubbish, if you like it keep it! :)

People. Question re the injector bolts. I read from a Mercedes specialist that they are fine being torqued to 7Nm plus 90 degrees. Is this correct or not? 7Nm seems pretty low.

£40?!! Mine was only £30 from Toolstation. A Draper. But yes, will consider that.

I think Merc amended the original spec and added a further 90 degrees - thus, 7Nm plus 90 plus 90 (degrees). Sounds scary. Worth checking this is still the case.
BUT - Bolts need be new, and thread holes (they're blind holes) must be clear of any debris.
You can feel if they're clear as you tighten by keeping a finger on the top bracket. If it begins to go 'firm' during the tightening process, then the bolt hole is sufficiently clear.
You can clear the holes first by blasting with an airline if you have one. If not, cut a couple of slots down the length of a spare bolt, put grease on the bolt, and work it down the threads to the base. The grease will pull any debris up in the slots as you unwind he bolt.

You haven't torqued them up yet, have you? (you can't find the torque wrench!).
So yes, you can extract them.

Yes as above, 7nm, then 90 then 90 again. Also, as above, its imperative that the bolts thread in loosely all the way to the bottom by hand, with no grittyness. Its common to have diesel and oil pool in the bottom of the bolt hole, and we all know fluids are "incompressible"

In a pinch, grinding a flat into the side of the old bolt, this can then be used to chase out the threads and clean them out.

Yes either a flat or a slot. The idea being the grit and dirt gets pulled into the slot so when you remove the bolt the dirt gets trapped in the slot. Similarly the slot gives an escape route for any trapped liquid to escape allowing you to mop it up before removing the bolt.
Be careful not to overtighten anything and make sure the new bolts are the correct (factory) ones and not just something from Halfords.

One last point... Don't clean the holes out with water or degreaser! ;)

If you'd asked....

I'm sorry, my apologies. Just wanting this finished asap now to get back on the road and producing more income than I am currently getting.
I was hoping to move her today.
