Lazy xenon light

Hi,

First post love the info that's on here.

My problem is a lazy xenon hi beam.

E320cdi 2004, when hi beam is engaged it seems a shutter/reflector allows more light from the bulb to show. But flicking hi beam off you can clearly see the nearside go down but the offside stays on hi beam then 10-30 seconds later it dips.

Any ideas?

Hello and welcome, this is not easy it could be the control unit or in the lamp,,I think that it needs to be plugged into STAR to see where the problem is

Cheers I have a service due in 2200 miles so will get them to look at it. Was trying to avoid main stealer when ever possible.

I get the indicator failure in the mirrors from time to time, will get my local garage to replace the cables on that one.

Any good indie will have STAR and they can do the job well
