Leakage from exhaust manifold

Hi, my radiator has been leaking , so I bought a new one unfortunately I couldn’t fit it because of the weather. I put in some anti-freeze and water and it came out of 2or3 holes at the exhaust manifold . Is this a core plug issue or something else? There was now water in the radiator , because of the leak , I wrapped the engine in a wooden blanket to keep the cold out , has anybody got any ideas to help me please. My car is a 190e 1.8 auto 1990 thanks

Could be a core plug that's rusted through .Also you will find a large screw plug in the same locality .This was for an engine block heater ,this will have a seal on it also. But I would go for a rusted out core plug .Get a mirror and a torch to see just what it is leaking . If it is a core plug they are easy to replace once all the rust and dirt is cleaned from the hole it fits in to. Come back when you know what it is .We will all help you to sort it out .
