Hi guys

My 2010 E class cabrio has a leak somewhere. The window glass gets soaking wet on the inside and fogs up after parking. I'll come back to find water dripping from the inside of the windows. A few things make me think it is not an external leak.

1. It only happens after the car has been driven and left.

2.It happens on days when it hasn't even rained.

3.If the car is left for several days without driving it doesn't happen even if it rains.

4. There is a slow Coolant leak that the indie couldn't find in the engine bay.

5.Smell of antifreeze when driving

6.It didn't happen over summer when the heating was always off.

Could this be a leaking heater core?

Possibly. Have you pulled up the carpets and looked for signs of blue stains? Or felt around at the front of the footwells in search of damp and blue stains? My son had exactly that and it was the heater core. Assuming you ue blue coolant.

But maybe a loose collar round a pipe? I had that and things improved but the new radiator solved the problem completely.
