Don't even think about using radweld or anything else like that!!!. Is the low coolant warning coming on? When the car is cold, Check the level in the expansion tank, put a little mark on it, check it daily, Then drive on until you have time to get it checked properly. Of course, it goes without saying, if the coolant is really dripping out, don't attempt to drive it.

Do never use that crap!!!
It will stick like crap to other parts and cause further problems. Its an intermittent bodge job.
If coolant is low - top it with water till you fix the offending item.
Things like leaves getting trapped under the rad could cause them rot the rad due to holding moisture.

Its good to get in the engine bay once a yeay with a vac or compressed air to clean out any leaves where they get trapped.

If your SL has ABC then it may be CHF11s leaking rather than coolant.

Mioba says it all when it comes to radweld and it's close relatives...the reason I said to Mark the expansion tank is is to confirm that it's coolant leaking, and not something else. If it's still showing drops on the driveway, but the coolant level stays the same, then it's something else is leaking.
