R230 SL500 - oh yeah!
Hi

Got message that the right license plate bulb was not working this morning so stopped and had a look. Initially just changed the bulb but that didn't work so had a closer look at the old bulb and it seemed fine.

Anyway, managed to get it working again by wiggling it all a bit when the bulb was in place. However, when I put the cover back on it moves and the connection goes. Obviously a dodgy connection in there - so any ideas as to what to try next??

I've already pinched the holders in to make them more snug and used switch cleaner for a good contact.

This is one of those irritating little jobs that is bound to take ages to get right. I'd like to be able to fix it (or have a good go) before I take it into a garage...

Thanks.

A light rub with a little emery paper on the contacts?
