'Lights-On' buzzer not working

The lights-on buzzer in my 190e 2.3-16 has not worked for some years now, that was until a few days ago when it suddenly sparked back into life and scared the life out of me! (It's quite loud!)

Since then it has stopped working again!

I'd like to try and repair it. Has anybody got any ideas where I could start to look for the fault?

Check the wires are conected and are making proper contact.
