You can’t change the lighting source that your car was built with, without dehomologating the car.

If you decide to, you’ll need to completely replace the headlamp units with those of the new lighting source type. If you do this you will have to inform your insurance company that your car has been modified. The only other lighting source available is HiD which will require you to fit headlamp cleaner system too. That’s a new bumper, different wash tank.....

For your car you will have either halogen H7 or HiD D2S or D2R lamps fitted. If you have H7 then I strongly suggest you replace them with Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited, they are the most high performing halogen lamps on the market by some degree.

Unless you replace with the same technology (eg halogen for halogen, HiD for HiD) it's illegal.
If you have H7 then Osram Night breakers are the way to go.

H7 I take it that's the Standard bulbs that I will have just now.
Yes.
Big thing is to make sure the lenses are clean and not fogged or yellow. No point upgrading bulbs if the lenses are knackered or reflector rusty.

+1 for everything LK says - it's what I did to my S203 a few months after I got it - and then to my S204 as soon as I got it! I've tried all varieties of Nightbreaker (NB, NB+, NB Ultimate and NB Laser) and Ultimates are best light and value for money.

Ultimate and Laser both have exactly the same light output.

The 3M headlamp lens kit. Whatever you buy, ensure it has the UV sealant included and apply it to prevent reclouding.

had a look like the fact that you can use it with a household drill aswell
I’ll freely admit I’ve not used this kit, but many on here have with excellent results.
