Hi, done a road trip test, if I stayed 50 -55 58, no limp mode, its when I ask for more pedal power it goes into limp,
Engine man light has now gone out as well, because I have just stayed at that speed, still have Turbo under boost code ,
any ideas?

Check intercooler hoses first as rf065 mentioned above. I dont know if sprinter has same setup of hoses as my OM651 Vito but I changed out my drivers side hose a while back for getting intermittent turbo boost codes, I had one about three days after changing it strangely but none since. My hose wasn't split but had a little worn dimple where it had been touching subframe which I dont think went the whole way though. I suspected my problem possibly was the fickle way this hose is retained with spring retaining clips and the seals had worn at one end or each end of the hose through age and miles. This hose was £100 from Mercedes but after 3 months seems to have cured my boost codes and random limp modes. I reckon it may have been the new hose settling in on the new seals at each end that threw up the single limp mode after fitting it. The design and feel of fitting this makes me think it needs good turbo boost to help it properly seal after fitting?

Also is there anything I can put into the fuel tank to help stop sooting up? I have only 1 fuel cap, 2007 sprinter 313,

Think its more important you use low ash specified oil in the engine rather than a fuel additive. Make sure its performing regens properly as this will be the biggest cause of it blocking up.

Use Dipetane, magic and it is not an additive per se, it is a natural product
