Hi everyone, I’m new to the group.Has anyone used Liqui moly engine oil . I have a 1995 facelift 500sl with 160,000 miles which runs great but LM oils seem to be highly recommended ( more in US it seems ) . If so could you let me know what your experience has been good or bad .

Hello and welcome,

As long as it’s Mercedes approved then it’s fine… A 0W-30 is probably too thin for your car a 5W-40 or 10W-40 is probably what you require (I’d be checking the manual for correct spec)

Used for over 15 years on various applications. absolute fine. like all oils the price has "crept" up.
I get what i need when its on offer and store it in my garage.

It will be a mobil 1 era car (0w-40), bet you.

Are you in the US OP, there is plenty of liquid moly in the UK.
