sorry i didn't take any photos as i am a muppet and forgot.

on the end with the push in release drill out the pop rivet, undo the one 20 torx screw

remove the end cap you will see the insert that the cover wraps around, it is a grey tube with a black central piece (excuse the drawing)

put a large flat bladed screw driver inside and turn the black section until it is tensioned. HOLD IT TENSIONED

next is the part that you have to be carfull, apply a SMALL amount of super glue to the top of the grey tube and turn the black insert gently both ways so that both bits have a little super glue on them, and then sit there holding the screw driver still so the glue goes off, i sat there for nearly five minuets to be sure........

once it has gone off you should be able to let the screw driver out and it wont go PING!!! refit the end cap this can be tricky as the cap has a protruding part which needs to fit between the black bits of the insert, do up the screw and fit a new pop rivet.

then using a gentle tug pull the load cover out and because you didn't use loads of super glue the glue lets go and hey presto all done.

hope it works for you.

Top job Tony, where you at 0.5% left now I say!
need a N/S headlight as mine is too badly damaged with a poor repair to pass an MOT, other than that i think it's just the heated front drivers seat that needs sorting, would like to put a tow bar on it at some point in the future and have afront and rear dashcam fitted, to date the car has cost me £5,195
