I recently bought a 2002 E240 Estate with an interface setup for a Nokia 6210i cell phone. I could not find one so I purchased a 6310i and a new control unit. I assumed the unit was located under the console below the phone cradle and arm rest storage box, wrong! Where the heck is the unit located.

Finally found it!

Thanks for the replies. I finally found it in the trunk on passenger side access panel. Luckily I was able to replace old unit and it works as advertised without further changes to any other software or hardware setups.

How much did you pay for the interface module, if I may ask?

Thanks.

Sorry for the delay in answering. I paid ?295.00 for the unit here in Germany. Surprisingly the dealer, relatively small town, had it in stock.

Cheers, George
